Our Ethos
Cork Penny Dinners exists to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Our purpose is simple but vital – to provide nutritious meals in a warm welcoming space where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Our objectives remain the same today as they did in 1888, to offer food, support and compassion to those in need while keeping the spirit of kindness and community alive in Cork.
Access Our Services
Cork Penny Dinners provides a hot, nourishing meal every day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our premises on 13 James St, Cork. We also offer additional items such as sandwiches, biscuits, fruit, and water
Additional Support
We can also provide items of warm clothing, such as jumpers, hats, and scarves when requested. If you require any of these please let us know.
Cost
All of our services are completely free of charge.
How to Get a Meal
Simply visit us at our premises at 13 James Street. We're open 7 days a week from 9am – 1pm.
Location
We are located at 13 James St, Cork City, T12PN7X, off Washington Street to the side of the Court House. Just look for the CROÍ NA LAOÍ Cork Penny Dinners sign over the door and call in.
